My manually produced animated film is about two female astronauts who land on the surface of an alien planet and embark on a journey of discovery, submerging themselves in the ocean that covers the celestial body. Diving below the surface, they realize that the planet itself is a living being in which everything lives in harmony, and then they themselves fuse with the whole. To display this changing, moving being, I chose charcoal as my technique, with which I drew the transformations frame by frame.
